Mind Block

Nothing is impossible.

mind block

There is a block in the mind which makes us less adventurous. When we overcome this mind block, impossibility becomes possibility.

When a kid starts to explore something new, just be with him/her and support instead  of preventing him/her from doing the same. Majority of the parents, being concerned on the safety of their kid, starts telling like ‘don’t do that, you can’t do that, it’s dangerous etc’.

And when they grow up, these thoughts are rooted in their mind and they starts thinking about the impossibilities. They start thinking whether they can do it or not.  In fact when they were a kid, never they might have thought about any impossibility. Everything was under their arms or big mind.

Being elder, where did this self-confidence get buried?

Yes, our mind is something which is getting tuned to the circumstances.

It gets tuned to whatever we hear in the childhood.

It gets tuned to whatever we see in the childhood.

And the mind block starts to develop within us unknowingly. We could never realize it. We are tuned. We simply believe that ‘it’ can not be done by me.

Tell your mind

“you are awesome; you can create wonders in the world; you can rule the impossibilities”

Absolutely, a great role to be played by parents. They need to come out of their traditional outlook. And make their kids braver and braver.

Your bring up a good point between concern for child safety and the accidental creation of fear within the child. We need to be aware of how our children respond to different situations. It is wiser to ask them the question, “WHY” before they do something, than to “STOP THEM” after they begin the event. This helps guide the child rather than create fear and the lack of ability to do things without parental approval first.

You said it absolutely right and made a grand explanation for my intent. children are to be boosted in such a manner that they are not bothered about the negativity in the events.

Yes. It is well stated. The stuffs we learn from childhood serve rest of the life. We should make children indulge in all activities so that in future they will have an idea of how to deal with it. From where does the fear arise? It is the mind that triggers all the worst incidents that had happened and makes us submissive.

Absolutely true. It is the mind which prevents or demotivates us from adventures. If we are able to overcome that mind block, things are within our hands

Wow.. so good Akhila ! true that our parents and elders are making us all less adventurous and almost limited in possibilities. They say they’re protecting us but they are overruling our minds to limit it as far as possible that frustrate once in life of every adult, even they themselves are a result of it. Loved the last positive lines 🙂
