Self compassion

By | December 29, 2018

It was a miss of communication from the other side. And it was good enough to induce my negative hormones for a few seconds as the miss made me lonely. So kept myself distracted for sometime to make the self calm and then looked back. Then the self told me , “Someone forgot to update you. They didnt do what they have to and you are worrying on that.
For some other’s fault why should you be depressed? Moreover whats fault, what’s not fault..the answer lies in one’s expectations and emotional bonds. So lesser the expectations and lesser the attachments, happier the life appears.”

I’ve done my “life test” on those and you are correct.

Hmm.. Krishna advises Arjuna to focus on karma forgetting the results.. but karma and bond less life seems two different planets..

Is that not a contradiction? Isn’t ‘focusing on karma’ all about worrying about results? I’d like a good long talk with Lord Krishna on that one, Akhila. I wonder how much time was spent between the Lord and his disciple on discussing the concept of compassion? I bring that up because the truly compassionate being is no longer concerned about personal karma, and not at all about results. When the truly compassionate “does” all of her doing is “good” and there is never any reason to look back, nor to worry what the future will bring… would you say that is correct?

Focusing on karma need not imply a conscious effort to put in.. one who is compassionate will do the “good” naturally itself without worry on the results.. but I was puzzled on something like, how could that lead to a detachment?

To the ‘gods’ detachment is not desired. As a practicing, detached individual I have no need for any type of ‘god’. The proper use of detachment is through self empowerment. I AM, and if I ever found I needed a god, then it would have to be me: there is no one else for me to draw power from. I may share power with other individuals, but I would never take power from anyone. Those who do that, and there are so many hence why this world is sick, demonstrate their dependence on others. They are what I call energy sucks… I suppose “mind vampire” would also describe them, as well as psychopathic. All gods are psychopaths.

That is true, as far as we know. But there’s the law of thermodynamics to deal with. The more we “manipulate” energy, using it as if it was a form of currency, the more entropic our world(s) become. When energy reaches a state of complete entropy, it still exists, but it is unusable. We are experiencing this currently on planet earth in terms of anthropological climate change and massive pollution of air, land and water. Even feeble efforts such as recycling only manage to add to the problem and all new technology will only speed up the process of entropy on Earth. Great thoughts, what?

Wow… great thoughts indeed. infact i was wondering where did the thoughts reach starting from self compassion..it seems i need a little research on this ” all new technology will speed up the process of entropy on earth”
